Refund policy

Your current refund page is already stronger than Pokemon Faction’s for print-on-demand, but it can be improved by making the made-to-order policy more explicit, separating “quality issues” from “change-of-mind” requests more cleanly, and tightening the EU withdrawal language so it doesn’t overpromise where made-to-order exceptions may apply. Printful’s policy specifically allows claims for damaged, misprinted, defective, or wrong items within 30 days, and it does not offer free refunds or reprints for buyer mistakes or buyer’s remorse.

Here’s a revised version written to better match a Printful-style workflow while staying customer-friendly.


Otaku Bestie Refund & Return Policy

At Otaku Bestie, each item is made to order specifically for you once your purchase is placed. Because of that, we do not generally accept returns or exchanges for customer preference issues, but we will absolutely help if something arrives damaged, misprinted, defective, or incorrect.

Returns & Exchanges

Because our products are made-to-order, we do not accept returns or exchanges for:

  • Change of mind.

  • Ordering the wrong size.

  • Ordering the wrong color or variant.

  • General dislike of the fit, feel, or color tone.

Please review size guides, product descriptions, and your order details carefully before completing your purchase. Since each item is produced just for you, we’re usually unable to restock or resell returned items.

Damaged, Misprinted, Defective, or Wrong Items

Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives. If you receive an item that is damaged, misprinted, defective, or not what you ordered, contact us within 30 days of delivery.

To help us review your claim, please email otakubestiedesigns@gmail.com with:

  • Your order number.

  • A brief description of the issue.

  • Clear photos showing the product and the problem, such as the misprint, damage, incorrect item, or size tag if relevant.

If your claim is approved, we may offer:

  • A replacement item at no additional cost.

  • A refund to your original payment method, when appropriate.

In most quality-related cases, you will not need to return the item before a resolution is provided. If a physical return is required, we will send you instructions first.

Return Shipping

Do not send any item back without contacting us first. Print-on-demand returns must be reviewed and approved before anything is mailed, and sending an item to the wrong address can delay or prevent resolution.

If a return is approved and a physical return is required due to our error, we will provide the proper return instructions and let you know whether a return label will be issued.

Items sent back without prior approval may not be accepted or refunded.

Cancellations & Order Changes

Because orders move into production quickly, we cannot guarantee cancellations or edits once an order has been placed. If you need to change your address, size, or variant, email us immediately at otakubestiedesigns@gmail.com, and we’ll try to help if production has not already started.

Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns for:

  • Custom or personalized items.

  • Digital products.

  • Gift cards.

  • Final-sale or clearance items, if marked as such at checkout.

European Union Orders

If your order is delivered to a country in the European Union, you may have certain consumer rights under local law, including a 14-day right of withdrawal for many online purchases. However, this right may not apply, or may apply differently, to goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalized items, which can fall under legal exceptions.

If you are located in the EU and would like to request a cancellation or return, please contact otakubestiedesigns@gmail.com within 14 days of delivery, and we will review your request in line with the applicable rules for the product and destination country.

Refunds

If your refund is approved, it will be issued to your original payment method. Once approved, please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to be processed, though your bank or card provider may take additional time to post it to your account.

If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved and you still have not received it, please contact us at otakubestiedesigns@gmail.com.
